AUDI FASHION WEEK
I shots a few of the shows at the Jo’burg Audi Fashion Week for JhbLive during the last few days. I’m only going to post two photos from those shows on this blog because this is not a fashion blog and I try to keep the photos mainly music related AND I try not to post photos of people with eating disorders(i am kidding)… I’m posting these two as I like these way more than any of the others… my favourite is the second one… and yes, it is out of focus… and yes, I meant it to be so… really… I like the first one because it’s not your standard ramp shot and I quite like the framing…
Yoh, that second one is wicked.
Some awesome photos here Ravi! Looks like they came straight out of a fashion magazine. The only disappointment is that there are so few. I always want to see more shots but I do understand that it takes time to process them.
One reason why doing fashion show is a good idea is that as opposed to concerts where the setup is done for the benefit of acoustics, fashion shows are setup for photography specifically. The lighting is always going to be good and the stage is easily accessible. That’ll make it easier to get better pictures. You can see that right here in this post. Having said that, I agree that you should focus on music gigs and concerts. But you can definitely learn lots from the fashion stuff.
