ALEXANDER THE AWESOME
A few months back I was invited by my very good friend Sven to a dedication for his son Alexander. This was my first dedication and volunteered to shoot a few photos. It was a really good day out and was good to spend some time with his family and friends. I shot everything with natural light(how unlikely is that?) and converted them to mono and tried out a few processing techniques but decided on a classic black and white feel. in the end. The photos didn’t turn out exactly as I initially planned but I still really love these.
Oh, that last photo is not of Alexander but is one of my favourite portraits to date which was shot at the dedication so I thought I would post it anyway…
I saw the pics before reading the blurb above. so I was gonna say that Sven Jr really aged in that last pic. But it’s not him so… nevermind. You shoulda done more with the whole family. I think they’d like a full family portrait.
Nice. These are processed differently, they look so clean.
